Hi there. I have a problem with regards on where to find and how to update my bios. I'm going to install Ubuntu 9.04 today but the setup found out that my bios date is 10/19/99.
Unfortunately, its cut-off bios date must be at least 2000. So the setup was cancelled.

Here are some information on my PC:

Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3
Pentium III 551MHz
128MB memory

Here are the information during PC boot:

(top left corner)
Award Modular Bios v4.51PG(bios brand and version)
Asus P2B-F ACPI Bios Revision 1011
Award plug & play bios extension v1.0A

(bottom left corner)

Could you tell me the Award Modular website for me to download an update?
Or could you just help me how to do it?
Please help! I need to update my bios. Thanks for any help!

Award will not have the specific BIOS
You need to go to Asus:

Product - Motherboard
Series - Slot One
Model - P2B-F
Operating System - W 9X

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits
