Does the light on your monitor turn on?

Do you hear the hard disc starting?

Try unplugging your computer, plug it back in.. and turn it on.

Or, hold the power button in for 6-10 seconds, it should turn your computer off.
Try to turn your computer back on.

What is the make and model of your computer?
What OS are you using?
