DVD dose not recognize blank dvd's anymore

My dvd and cd drives do not work with blank disks anymore. They work fine with disks that have material on them. the computer dose recognize the drives and I have updated them.
Please help me.

this is a clear symptom of a dirty lens, get the cleaning pack or use soft cloth with alcohol but do research before starting to clean or you may damage it.
