hello there,

as per the board's suggestion, i am stopping in at new member introductions to, and this is really waaay out there, introduce myself! HA!

no ok, really, i'll be here all week. i love working the big room! thank you thank you very much....

oh no....ive gotten away with myself... letsee here eh em

hi, my name is angela. (anj119 to you, bub) and i have an intriguing problem with which to present the experts at bleepingcomputer.com. i have not yet discovered what forum will be most appropriate, but be assured that i will come right back here to provide a link.

 i am forced into knowing a bitsy bit about my computer by my resolve to keep myself spyware free. as you well know, this can be a massive undertaking and requires a level of computing savvy which will not be described as basic. this is not to tout myself as some sort of guru, rather to say that i have gone far above and beyond my own expectations of what would be required in the way of learning about what makes my computer tick.

and ive been somewhat successful. having clean scans with spybot, microsoft antispyware, and lava soft's adaware for over a month. i do get unwanted programs found by mcaffee virus scan, and i still endeavor to root out the source of my most persistent pop ups. it is a fine line, a balancing act to correctly handle cookies and still maintain a functioning computer :flowers:

whoa! long winded for a 'quick blow by introductions' which is what i intended...
no matter.

ill see you all 'out there'.
