My home computer is infected with viruses 9129837.exe ans ALCXMNTR.exe and probably more and they wont let me connect to the internet. I am running Windows XP home edition and use Firefox with Mcafee. My provider is Verizon FIOS. I either get a page load error cant connect to server problem or I get no connectivity at all . I would like to get started getting help but have no way of posting the proper logs etc if I cant get to the internet to download the software. I am currently using my work laptop to post this but likely wont be able to use it to download any programs to use here. Any idea how I can resume connecting to the internet. I have already tried unplugging the connection.

This might help:

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
