Hi Everyone. If you have been infected by the new "Icanseek" virus that keeps new ads coming up on your computer, here's a trick that worked for me. I use "XP" and my browser was, notice I said "Was", Firefox. I got infected with the virus "Icanseek" from goodness knows where. Here's what I did and it worked. You might try the same. Try booting in Safe Mode (press F8 while the computer is starting) and while in Safe Mode, clear your internet data (browser history, temp files and cookies). Then run a spyware and malware scan with your Antivirus or Anti Spyware software.
Reboot in regular mode and after that it should be fine. I'm now using I.E. as my browser and I find no problems. Please let me know if YOU have a problem. Best regards, Warren (Email remove to protect from spambots)
