Hello. I've been in the process of doing some spyware and virus removal this weekend and this site came up in a number of google searches, and I must say, it's the most useful site of it's kind I've ever found. After taking alot of the advice already mentioned, I've managed to already get my computer into (as far as I know, which, regarding computers, is little) pretty good shape. Hi,

Please download the following program, http://cwshredder.net/bin/CWShredder.exe

Now ctrl+alt+delete once and end the following task
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ie4alsec.exe

Make sure all your browser windows are closed before running the program.

Next, run Hijackthis and place a check next to the following.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,Default_Search_URL = http://www.wholeworldmarket.com/search/
F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\System32\Userinit.exe
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {2CDE1A7D-A478-4291-BF31-E1B4C16F92EB} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll",Load

close all your internet browser windows and click fix in Hijackthis.

Now locate the following files and delete them

Files:
C:\WINDOWS\NITEAIM.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\sysupd.exe
C:\WINDOWS\sstyle.css
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ie4alsec.exe
C:\WINDOWS\repair\tapikb.exe

Reboot once and please post a fresh Hijackthis log in your thread. Have you installed any spyware removal tools? Ad-aware, Anti-spy, or Spybot?
