I'm a somewhat of a hardware type techie, I Love & Hate software and windows can be a major pain. This sums up my talent pretty much. I can develop a circuit board but someone else will have to develop the software. In any case I wanted to give a little background info about my level of expertise.

I'm currently out of the computer circle for a couple years, I used to build and repair them but I now try to just keep them working. I'm allways battleing software issues and this is my reason for joining this site. I know enough to know better than trying to know the rest. If you get my drift- I know just what I need to know to get into trouble with things. Jack of all trades....Master of none....In other words- I simply do things the hard way!

I am looking foreward to alot of help from friendly people and if and whenever possible, I will allways try to help others out. It is truely a two way street and I believe in trying to see the good in all and forgive the rest.

I am looking foreward to getting to know a few fellow computer comrads here in hopes that I can seek help while helping others. I am the go-to guy in the crowd for computer issues in my circle but I am software defecit- this is not a great combination!

BTW- I will post the issue in a different forum re: dinging XP software, If you are XP Guru and the can help out with a random notification issue please see the post and see if you can bail me out! If so I'd be much appreciative.

Best Regards,
