Hope this is in the right place.

I think I got something in my PC.
Dell Latitude D610
microsoft Windows XP
Version 2002
service Pack 3

intel Pentium M
processor 1.73GHz
1.5GB RAM

The PC boots up ok,seems a bit slow.
Connects to wireless or LAN connection OK.
When i use a command prompt, I can ping yahoo.com, and other sites by name.

When I open iexplorer, the page opens, but just says connectiongand never opens.
I do not recieve any error codes and/or the "this page could not be opend error"

I think something is running in the background also.
I ran Malwarebytes a few times and found nothing, then I ran it in SAFE MODE and it found Trojan.Dropper.located
c:\windows\system32\wbem\proquota.exe

I removed it, rebooted in SAFE MODE and rescanned.it found nothing, but I stillhave the same issue with IExplore.

I also scanned with AVG8, Windows Defender and Adware 2008.
no results...

Hope someone can piont me in the right direction.

I have a bunch of the tools you use on the website for logging. Please letmeknow if you need to see any.
thanks
Vince
