Hi. I recently had Ubuntu 9.04 installed on my computer. It's nice but it's got a couple of issues that I'm trying to fix.

Every time I put my computer to sleep or make it hibernate, I can't connect to the Internet the next time I try to use it. I always have to restart it if I want to get the Internet back. The only time that I was able to use the Internet after my computer was asleep was when a friend of mine used terminal to connect. I don't know how to do that, and I don't like having to restart my computer several times a day but I also don't like leaving it running all the time. And in general, the computer has a really hard time connecting to the net at all unless the connection is pretty strong. This doesn't happen on my Windows partition though.
Any help would be appreciated!

Try typing this command in the terminal after waking the computer:

sudo dhclient
