 Hi!

Just joined and introducing myself. BleepingComputer.com is something I have just discovered through a Google search for a whole load of garbage I inadvertently downloaded when I installed free P2P software (advertising suppported!). I really should have know better. Now I face hours of work to eliminate the adware and spyware that came with it. Heigh ho! donmhlnd

Not only is most p2p software full of adware, but many files downloaded through it also have malware and viruses. Start with the common anti-spyware applications Ad-AwareSE and Sybot.
You will find a lot of information that will help you here at BC, as well as members willing to help you.
Regards,
John

 to BC! donmhlnd.
Not only do you get those risks with P2P but you can run the chances of downloading something illegal with them.

Good Luck,
