First let me start by saying that only the latest version of the FREE AVG has picked this up at all. Symantec - nothing..the competitor - nothing..my hats off to AVG for either a fine job in detection, or for writing a very troublesome redirector.. ;)

I have been reading posts about this thing all over the place and no one has any direct answers. There must be a lot of variants of this one, some people name off files that I dont have, reg keys I dont have, but we all have the same problems in the end.

IE or FireFox in any search engine. The first click works just fine on a search returned URL, but after that nothing, it just goes to the antispyware and other nonsense sites. I have to copy+paste all of my search locations just to get anywhere. It wasn't much of a bother, I was going to wait until I could reload in a few weeks or month, but then I read it might be logging my keys!

Any help appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, forgot to say what I was running..

Windows XP SP3

I noticed this problem a few weeks ago after installing the latest version of Acrobat. I think I may have caught it from a Visio Stencil..I was downloading them all over the place and checking them in Visio. That is all I can think of.
