Hey.. So a little while ago my computer just suddenly would not load and programs once it reached the main menu. (It would also take a little while to load to the main menu too.) Anyway, I booted the computer in safe mode, ran Malwarebytes (both in full and quick scan) and got three main viruses. It requested the computer to be reset, so I did. Well, I loaded it up in normal mode, and it seemed fine.

The problem now was when I went to turn it off and turn it back on.. When I turned it back on, it wouldn't load anything like the first time. I booted it up in safe mode, did the MBAM scan, and the SAME 3 viruses were there. This kept happening until I did a full scan in safe mode using SUPERAntiSpyware. Now I can usually load it up without going into safe mode and doing the MBAM scan, but the viruses are still there when I go to search. They keep coming back.

I did some research on toolkits, which is the kind of virus/trojan I have, and it turns out they're hard to remove. I really don't want to reformat, so please help...

Here's the most recent MBAM scan log:

Hello Orange Milk, welcome to Bleeping Computer!

My name is Dark Messenger, and I'll be helping you with this infection :thumbup2:

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.

Ever so sorry for the delay, we're quite busy at the minute.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here:
Malwarebytes

MBAM may "make changes to your registry" as part of its disinfection routine. If using other security programs that detect registry changes (ie Spybot's Teatimer), they may interfere or alert you. Temporarily disable such programs or permit them to allow the changes.

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
* Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan.
* The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
* The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
* Copy&Paste the entire MBAM report (even if it does not find anything) in your next reply

Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process, if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

If Malwarebytes won't install or run

Some types of malware will disable MBAM and other security tools. If MBAM will not install, try renaming it. Right-click on the mbam-setup.exe file and change the .exe extension to .bat, .com, .pif, or .scr and then double-click on it to run.

If after installation, MBAM will not run, open the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware folder in Program Files, right-click on mbam.exe and change the .exe as noted above. Then double-click on it to run.

Well incase anyone would have bothered to read the first post, you would have seen that I have ran MBAM many times. It just won't to anything!!! Oh, and also, my computer stopped connecting to the internet a few days ago. When I open up Firefox, it just brings me to a blank page. (And yes, I have tried multiple browsers.) MBAM won't find anything new anymore, and my computer is acting up more than ever. (I'm using a my sister's laptop to type this.)

Look, I've seen other people's posts, and I know the routine that goes on. Nothing that I've seen so far on these forums will work for me.

I'm thinking about reformatting, and other people I know say to do that to. So unless you got something knew up your sleeve, this toolkit won't go anywhere.

Hi Orange_Milk,

Lets try ComboFix. Please visit this web page for download links, and instructions for running the tool:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix

* Ensure you have disabled all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply for further review.

Thanks.
