I don't know why, but all of a sudden, everything is large. I didn't ask for everything to be large... but all my icons are large, the "start" button is large, everything in this window is large...

How can I make everything normal again?

Try changing your screen resolution:
Right click > Properties > Settings tab

Drag the screen resolution to the "more" side.

Whenever I have funky things like that happen for no reason, I just use Windows System Restore to return the computer to the way it was the day before the funky thing happened.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

Click on restore my computer to a previous date, then select the date and then click on next.
