spam catcher/blocker

I use outlook express for my emails. I get so many spam emails it's pitiful. how do i block them w/out paying for something?

You can create filters in OE or use something like, MailWasher. There are several ways to do it. It depends on how you want to go about it. The simplest way is use a 3rd party spam filter like the one that I linked here. There are others as well.
