I obviously still need help because you didnt do anything to help me.

Obvious how? It is possible that you could have went somewhere else for help, and thus no longer needed help from us, isn't it?

A little description of what problems you are having would be helpful, because I really don't see anything in your log other than some optional start-up items.

OKAY THANKS, my problem is pretty much a bad case of spyware. Whenever I turn on my computer, it asks me if i want to run Mscarte32, and my command prompt closes every time i try to bring it up. My computer is lagging like a dieing goat. Its quite frustrating and i would appreciate it if you can aid me in fixing my computer. I already ran ewido and adaware in safe mode; didnt help much.

Ok..let's see what is hiding behind the scenes. Download Silent Runners from here:
http://www.silentrunners.org/Silent%20Runners.zip

Unzip it to its own folder, then run the script. After a while, it will produce a log file. Post the contents of the file here please.

I am giving you the code for another script. This script will help us find the key that has the value of the file we want to remove. Silent Tunners already showed me what is there. I need to find the key to stop it.

Open notepad. Paste the contents of the code box into it. Save the file as "regfind.vbs" including the quotation marks. When you run it, it will open a text box. Paste in the following file name:mscarrt32.exe

If I am still not helping you understand, let me know, and I will email you the file already compiled. :flowers:

That means that a) either the key doesn't exists, and your problem is gone, or  the code was somehow corrupted when I pasted it in here...

DOH!!! I'm so stupid some times. :flowers:

Click Start>Run>Then type in services.msc. Scroll down the list and find Wireless Connection Configuration. Right click on the service, then select disable, and then stop.

Then remove the following line with HJT:
O23 - Service: Wireless Connection Configuration (wificonf) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\mscarrt32.exe

Then reboot and post a new log. That file is showing up as not a valid file, so I am sure it is bad, especially if you are not using wireless Internet access.

Right click on My Computer>select Manage>Services and applications, then select applications.

What happens then?

I'm not going to abandon you. Life just got really busy for the next few days, so I may be a little slow responding though.
