Ok, I have been looking all over ther internet to try and find out how I can retrive my Windows XP Serial used when I installed it. The original copy of the serial was thrown out by my father who though it wasnt useful enough to keep around anymore. So now if I want reformat Im kinda skrewed. But thankfully I still have the cd. anything you could suggest?

Belarc Advisor is a nice free, for personal use program, it gives you information on your system from hardware to serial numbers for all of your programs. It is almost scary. :thumbsup:
