McAfee is being disabled

Every so often, I'm not sure of the exact times in between, McAfee will say "Your computer is not fully protected" adn will prompt me to fix the problem. I do so, and become protected again. I've run 2 full system scans and they have shown nothing, and a "QuickClean" using McAfee, and I'm in the process of defragmenting my hard drive. So far nothing noticeable has harmed my computer, yet.

This has never happened before today, and my Vista type (I'm not sure what to put here, so I'll just put everything) is Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 32-bit Operating System.

What should I do?
