Hello. I just got a new ATI X1650 PCI-E card about a month ago. Its been a life saver since I can now play new games like The Sims 3. But lately, its making loud scary noises when I power on my computer. It eventually slows down at the Windows XP loading screen. Somebody else said that if it did that, you need to install the latest drivers (on another forum) but I've already done that! What should I do? My graphic card makes my computer sound like its going to blow up!! (My graphic card doesn't make loud noises when using it to play games).

 Hope to hear something soon! :flowers:

It's not unusual for fans to be a bit [understatement] loud during startup.
As long as the fans quit down & all works right don't worry about it.
