Happy late Fourth of July to everyone! I had quite the experience of it myself. Lots of good fireworks, etc. What did you guys think?

Lots of alcohol.
Lots of BBQ.
No injuries.
What more, could anyone ask for?

http://www.loc.gov/rr/program/bib/ourdocs/DeclarInd.html. It's a good read. IMHO July 4 is not just a day to cook out. When you read the hell the signers of the Declaration of Independence and there families went through. July 4 is a day to say thank you for the signers and there families.

Thanks Layback Bear. It is good to be reminded why we celebrate the 4th of July.

I celebrated with my cousins who came up to visit.. they are all spread out over the country and it had been YEARS since we all were together. I was SO happy to see everyone. It was a great day.

Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.

Hide not your talents. They for use were made. What's a sundial in the shade?
