Hey everyone! My family has had a Netgear FVS318(V1) Router for a while and it has always served us fine. We just recently had a bad virus that messed up both computers on the router (not spread through network, but through a hard-drive that had connected to the infected, then moved to the uninfected). We reformatted both computers but now the router is not working. In about 30 second intervals, all the lights on the front of the router turn on, then stay on for about 5, then turn off. repeat.
The computers say that there is a connection while the lights are off, but we are unable to open an internet page. When the lights turn on, we get the 'local internet cable unplugged' bubble... we all know what that is (hopefully >_>).
But we would all really appreciate it if someone were to help us repair this problem. If it cannot be fixed within the next week, we are going to have to get an entire new router. And we don't want to have to spend $$ getting something we didn't need. so PLEASE! Help us.

Thank you,
DedicatedGamer & co.
