Upgrading RAM for HP Dv200

Recently I upgraded my RAM fom 1Gig to 2Gigs. Is it not overclocking? For Info: My processor is Intel Centrino .

I don't understand the question. Simply upgrading your RAM from 1GB to 2GB will not overclock anything. You may get a speed increase since the computer has more RAM to work with. You can overclock the RAM and the CPU but you have to do the overclocking.
