Dell 922 All In One Printer -- Cartridge Incorrect

I have a Dell 922 All In One Printer. Five seconds ago it was working fine. It got a paper jam, and after I unjammed it, it refused to print, saying I had the incorrect cartridge in the printer.

That can't be. I didn't change the cartridge.

Can anyone help me?

Did you try uninstalling/reinstalling the printer software/drivers?

Gosh, do you think that is it?

My feeling was when I cleared the jam, maybe I damaged the cartridge in some way.

What do you think?

Did the printer come with any utility programs?

Specifically, can the printer be reset (if not through software, is there a switch setting/sequence to do this)?
Can the jets be cleaned -- again, software or switch setting?

Have you tried removing and replacing the cartridge, in case it was bumped and unseated while you were unjamming the paper?



Sorry I can't be too much more help than this. My old HP 540 has been chugging along for ~10 years now. I've had problems like this (occasionally) and this is how I solved them. But "modern" printers are more complex than mine, and have even more intelligence in the cartridge than mine.
