After I do a Google search and click on one of the search results links, I get redirected to another website. It doesn't happen every time. I can cut and paste the link into the address bar and that works correctly. I have run McAfee scan and Microsoft Windows Malicious software scan, and neither shows any problems. I don't know what to do next.
Attached hopefully is my HijackThis results file.

Thanks for any help

After I do a Google search and click on a results link, I often (but not always) end up at a totally different site. I can cut and paste the same address into the address bar and get there correctly, so I am sure I am somehow getting hijacked. I used McAfee and Microsoft scans to look for something amiss but they did not detect anything.

There is my DDS file, any help will be hugely appreciated.

Still having the same problem, that is when I click on a result link from a Google search I often end up at a totally different website. I can cut and paste the result link into my address bar and get to the correct website, so something is redirecting the links. Here is my second DDS file and again thank you for any help.

Hello and welcome to BleepingComputer.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy and Paste the entire report in your next reply.
Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process, if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

After that, we'll use ComboFix.exe. Please visit this webpage for download links, and instructions for running the tool:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix
  • When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.
  • Please post the C:\ComboFix.txt along with a new HijackThis log so we may continue cleaning the system.
