I use Mozilla as my dedicated browser, but nowadays when I attempt to download anything, i.e. Adobe Flash 10, etc., the command window indicates either save the file or cancel process. There is no option given where to save the file, it simply downloads and vanishes, and I can't find the file to continue the process, nor does the download start the program. When I use IE, it loads the program and everything starts up - I can save .exe files to Desktop, and so on.

This means I have to manually switch to IE to do downloads and use IE if I want to view videos, etc.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried the uninstall/reinstall routine?
