My name comes from one of my favorite novels, The Egyptian by Mika Waltari. It's the hero's name and means "he who walks alone."

I got my first computer in the mid-80s -- a pre-Windows PC that practically drove me crazy. I didn't understand DOS -- and it didn't understand me either. Windows is a blessing.

I also have about ten years experience running a MAC.

I'm a retired writer who is currently reviewing movies for The Examiner. You can check out my reviews at: http://www.examiner.com/x-5346-Philadelphia-Movie-Examiner

I remember seeing the movie of the novel, and it made a great impression on my (relatively) young mind., and I have watched it more than once since then. To my delight, I found a copy of the book in a used bookstore and read the novel.
