Hello again BC. I need help in dealing with my deep freeze.

To start, I seldom use the program because I'm tired of freezing / unfreezing it and not to mention those annoying times when I completely forget to thaw my system before Doing major changes in my drive c. I just used it recently for security purposes.. And then after a few days, my antivirus detected something that in the program. The infected file was deleted. then I just noticed that the icon does not appear anymore on the system tray. I managed to browse through its installation folder only to find nothing.. just the icon which I can't execute..

I researched for some solution and came by a thread that tells to try the deep unfreezer program. I was able to run the unfreezer and it says that it detects deep freeze. How ever, when I try to click the load status, It requires me to open a service file as if some file is missing (which I am not surprised why). In the end, the unfreezer didn't solved my problem. I can't save the "boot thawed" setting because it says it cannot find service process (error 31) oh, here is the log from the deep unfreezer ..

OK: Retrieving info size
OK: Checking processes for service program path
WARNING: Processes check failed
OK: Checking registry for service program path
WARNING: Registry check failed
OK: Manual selection required
Error 18: service program not found
OK: Info size: 8600 bytes

 *sigh* Im never gonna use this program again ...

Any help or suggestions will be much appreciated.. TY

Who installed Deep Freeze? Is this a school computer or used in a school environment?

Deep Freeze is security software, frequently used in schools, to prevent students from installing software or altering the operating system.

I have never used the program so I can only recommend you contact Faronics Support for assistance with your issue.
