Hi, my name is Bert, posted as Bertolt to differenciate me from another Bert.....
I have had great problems with my PC over the last month or so....seems, after great effort, that it was Verizon phone lines, and it's effect of damaging, I think, of my Zyxtel 660P modem niow replaced causing ye old PC to enter into the blue screen of death ten times in a row...got it working, now freezes and so, here I am. I know very little about PC, but, it seems it might be more than most, and I seek help, and to provide, if any, help to others...I'd hate to migrate to Apple...been in PC Hell too long. There are many defences of Gates, but, let me ask you, would you buy a car witout breaks, well, that is what Billy Boy Gates has done....Bert

From what you write, and I am not a expert in this area, you should post about your problem in the Internal Hardware section, and let the readers there know what you replaced the old modem with, and provide any warning information contained in the BSOD. I am sure Members more expert in computer hardware problems can help you resurrect your computer.
