Hi

I'm new so I'm sorry if I've posted this in the wrong section first of all.

Secondly, the problem. My DVD drive is set to region 2 as default. However, when I try to play an original DVD (also set for region 2 players), the drive doesn't read it. I keep trying over and over again, it just makes a little 'whurrr' then shuts off.

I can play copied DVD's, but not originals. Anyone know what can be the causing the problem? It's really frustrating!

Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

You can download this program so your dvd player will be region free.

I've just installed that program, and still the drive doesn't read the DVD. It just 'whurrs' and shuts off.

Is there anything specific I need to change in the settings of the software?
