I am hoping someone can guide me through some steps to speed up my laptop. It is less than 2 years old. I received it from my work, but is is extremely slow and freezes all of the time. When I went into task manager nothing was running that would be slowing it down. The hard drive has 36gb free out of 37gb. Can someone let me know what information you need from me in order to help me? Thanks.

You need to tell us more details about your laptop's hardware and software.

What information do you need in order to help me. I am not as computer savvy as everyone using these forums but if you can tell me specifically what you need, then I can try to give you that information.

Hi Rocket, you should look thru this topic... Slow Computer/browser? Check Here First; It May Not Be Malware
Then if you think it maybe malware after that, then start a new thred in the Am I Infected forum.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
