popup and Avast

Install Avast yesterday and when I run it I get regular pops. Have given extensive info on my system, configuration etc. My answers/input in red:

- What Windows version are you using?
Windows Vista Business Service Pack 2 (build 6002)

- What avast! version is installed on your computer? You can find this information in "About avast!..." dialog.
Antivirus Version 4, 8, 0, 0

- How do you connect to Internet?
ISP=DSLEXTREME.COM (DSL Connection w/router)
I need to know mainly if you're using some firewall (and which one), if you're connected via dial-up, LAN or ADSL etc.
Windows Firewall (part of Windows Security Center); Connect via DSL (see above)

- What e-mail client are you using?
(Outlook, Outlook Express...)
This information is needed if you have encountered any problem regarding e-mail only.

Basic hardware configuration of computer:

Gateway DX430 54.10124.001
Windows Vista Business Service Pack 2 (build 6002)
2.40 gigahertz Intel Core 2 Duo
250.06 Gigabytes Usable Hard Drive Capacity
164.15 Gigabytes Hard Drive Free Space

Yes thats normal. Thats how Avast is updated.
Everytime it downloads and installs an update, it would show you it did so.
