win xp welcome screen

hi is there any way to turn the welcome screen off when xp boots up. I get fed up with having to wait until my name comes up to click on it so windows will boot up, thanx

Try this:
  • Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel
  • Double click User Accounts
  • Click "Change the way users log on or off"
  • Uncheck the box "Use the Welcome Screen"
  • Apply all the changes and restart.
