My mom is having major issues that have not been resolved by MS, Dell, or Roxio/Sonic, so perhaps someone here can help.

Two weeks ago, Mom's Dell Dimension running Windows XP Media Center Ver. 2002 Service Pack 3 lost all internet access. The only clue we have is that she gets a message from "Sonic Activation Module." It basically says that she needs to insert a CD, which she does not have as the software was pre-loaded. System will not allow a restore to a previous date and attempts to remove the auto update processes from start up have all been for naught.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: Moved to more appropriate forum
