I restored my registry via the recovery console. I used an old backup and now programs that I installed after the backup don't work and don't show up in the "Add-Remove Programs" list or the "Start Menu".

The folders for the programs still exist in "C:\Programs" so I tried clicking on the .exe file from there but nothing happens.

I know it's happening because off missing registry keys due to the old backup file.

Is there any way to get the programs running again -or- is there any way to uninstall them?

To get them to function...you need to reinstall the registry data entries/keys, by reinstalling the programs.
