About four weeks ago I was writing a group of videos (M-Pegs) to a blank CD-RW disc. All were written successfully....save one. They were downloaded from the internet to my CD-RW drive. Now I have one file of zero bytes that I cannot move, delete, copy, cut or write to a cd. I have a Dell Dimension PC with Windows XP Home Edition. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of this stubborn "File". I cannot use my CD-RW drive to write anything until it is gone.

Hi!

Is this file located on your hard-drive (as opposed to your CD)?

If so, try Unlocker. It should be able to get rid of the file.

Thanks, aommaster..."unlocker" worked. Just one more question, though. I was expecting the file to be in the "recycle bin", but it wasn't there. Should I be concerned?

Hi!

Nope, not at all. Unlocker is used to get rid of files that have gotten 'stuck', either through file corruption, or incomplete transfer. Hence, there's no need for the file to go to the recycle bin and it is just removed from the computer.
