What kind of files are you looking to move?

Some files you'll be able to simply slap an extension on and move to the PC.
Jpegs / bitmaps etc you simply slap their extension on. (put .bmp or whatever onto the file)

It'll mainly depend on what kind of files, also, which Mac OS?
