windows 7 touchpad problem

i have a problem with my touchpad driver it wouldnot scroll
when i installed synaptics touchpad driver it says standard ps/2 mouse rather han touchpad
and when i try with vista driver also it didn't help
can anyone knows how to solve this
help me

Which Synaptics driver, and which Vista driver did you try to use?

Yeah, if you tell us the driver versions that can get us started. I had to reinstall the Vista drives for my touchpad on an XPS M1330. Sometimes driver descriptions can be a bit vague.

What kind of computer are you running on?
