Lately, I have had issues with my number one browsers, Firefox and Chrome. They both have had difficulty loading my home page on Facebook. Plus, whenever I try to stream audio or video from sites like YouTube, it is reported that I either have Javascript turned off or I am using an old version of Adobe Flash Player.
Times without number, I have downloaded and installed the said flash player for both IE and other browsers. At one time, the issue was resolved... on all except IE.
Instead of the error message, I get a small grey box in the space where the video is supposed to appear. Does anyone have a suggestion that'll help. I have not been able to check out my Facebook profile since last week.

You have to uninstall the old version of Flash using the tool at this link. Then you install the new version.
