Hey guys,

My streaming videos etc only play about a few minutes in then they stop. And it does it browsing the web also, sometimes it will just stop responding for long periods. It almost sounds like a heavely infected system, but im pretty sure im clean. Any ideas?

What version of windows do you use and which browser?
Have you looked in the Event Viewer for clues?

Do any of the errors in the Event Viewer occur at the time the video stops playing.

Hello, thanks....

No. It doesnt appear to be directly correlated. I have a video running now, and its hanging, then playing, hanging then playing as it goes. Sometimes hangs permanant. It also hangs just surfing the web. Acts like a badly infected system. But after I run MBAM, AVG and superantispyware etc...nothing much comes ups.

Right click on the C drive in Explorer and go Properties > Tools > Check Now (under Error Checking). Check both boxes then click "Start Now". A message will pop up saying that Error Checking will run after you restart the computer. Restart the computer and Error Checking will run automatically after the restart. After itís finished it will restart into Windows automatically.
