I am running on XP Home SP2. I am having trouble uninstalling Windows Live Messenger 9. The program itself runs fine, but it just won't uninstall.

When I go to Add/Remove Programs, I locate to Windows Live Essentials and click on 'Change/Remove'. However, once I click on it nothing happens. I have tried it many times but with no luck. I have also tried to uninstall it using CC Cleaner, but the same thing occurs.

Any help much appreciated
