TM is of no help with this so I have come to the best place I know for assistance.

When I boot my system it takes TMISP 2008 10 minutes to finish loading. During that time I running 100% CPU and all other apps are frozen...I'm right at or exceed max RAM. Even task manager is sluggish during the loading

I have this software loaded on 2 other computers but have no problems with them. They are far less cluttered with crap than this one though. (I have another request in about reloading XP)

Task manager show 43 processes using 496M ram at normal state.

I run xp-pro, AMD XP- 2600 (1.8GHZ), 750M Ram, and usually less than 1G of space on C:.... (working on that)

THANKS in advance for any help anyone submits

A gig of space left on the hard drive has a lot to do with it
What other security, malware tools do you use?

Easy to hate a winner...;)

I actually have whole suite of tools...mostly recommended from here...Cure it, adaware, hijackthis, look2me, vundofix and combo fix...used to use spybot but TM and S&D dont play well.

One of my problems is to keep that 1G...I started with 5G as my C: drive but I have had to continually add space until I am finaly up to 16G....thats mostly XP but a few other programs as well...

Cure it, adaware, hijackthis, look2me, vundofix and combo fix.....You should remove these and spy bot. HJT and Combofix should not be used with out expert guidance.
Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Vundofix ia dated and replaced by MBAM tool below, spyBot and adaware use alot pf sytem resources, again handled netter by MBAM.
Instead use download [b]Malwarebytes Anti-Malware[/b

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
