This is the error message I see on my screen, (above in topics description window)with no systems restore how can I reinstall my OS ? I have the CD but it dose not read it when
loaded into the CD drive... Tried DELL Tech Support online, there solutions did not help solve the problem, unless I pay them to talk me through it. This computer came installed with MS/WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL & service pack 2 same as the reinsallation CD I have. Can anyone help me get by the error code ?

Welcome to BC

You need to change the boot order in the BIOS to make the CD drive the first boot device
You can also use the Dell recovery partition:
