I am unable to get Internet Explorer to connect to the internet. I also have Firefox, and I am able to connect to the internet using that and it works fine. I went to my Add/Remove Programs list using the Control Panel to see if I could remove and re-install Internet Explorer, but it does not even appear as an option on that list. I ran a scan using SUPERAntiSpyware, and 3 files were detected as being infected with a Trojan. They were Trojan.Agent/Gen-FraudDrop [2 items] and Trojan.Agent/Gen-Furious [1 items]. If needed, I can supply further details if needed. I also ran a scan using HijackThis and have saved the log, so I can also supply that if it is needed.

Whenever I click on the IE icon on my desktop, it opens a new page and it says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" and then lists the most likely causes. My internet connection is working fine, as evident by the fact that I can still connect using Firefox. If you could possibly help me restore my internet to working condition, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
