I gave up on my toshiba and bought an HP laptop, nice and not too expensive ($650). Vista 32 with 350 G HD, 3gig RAM.

I am very happy with it. However, I did load my programs to my F drive (external hard drive) and now wonder if that was a mistake. I did have to move a couple to the C drive because the program required it to be there.

Is it a mistake? I am concerned about keeping the speed in my new laptop and thought (there I go again, thinking. . . ) that might help keep the pc fast.

Perhaps I should keep the F drive as my back up???

SEPARATE ISSUE: The spell check here is iespell, but I cannot get it to download, suggestions? (I get a yellow splash with an '!' in it, but no where to go further.) Please pardon any spelling errors

Any thoughts would be appreciated. I trust you all!!!

Does anyone Skype answers? I was thinking it might be helpful to talk about these sort of things. I am on Skype as: pat71896 and would welcome assistance.
