home network with windows 7

So i can see all the computers and files on the network from the pc with windows 7 on it, but nothing can see that pc. what info do you guys need to help me out with this? i will post that info when i get home.

Have you gone through and enabled sharing of that PC? That could explain it. Chances are the default in 7 is switched to off.

yes sharing is enabled.on a bunch of files, folders, and as well as the printer. but i can't access them from any other computer

What OS are the other computers running? If it's XP, could be that the default Workgroup name in XP is MSHOME but the default Workgroup name in Vista and W7 is WORKGROUP. Why they changed it I have no clue.

What network are the computers that you are seeing (from the Win7 machine) showing up as?
