Hi ya Old Gimmer

In the top right hand corner. You will see a _ a square and a x.

Click on the "square" symbol in the center.

This applies when you would like to minimize a window. Though instead of the "square" showing. A double square shows.

resize the window that is small OldGimmer... then make sure that is the last page you exit out of?? I think that is how it is done. LOL I am not sure I am remembering right either.

Thanks for the replies, Scarlet & Pandy.

While your suggestions worked, they didn't effect a permanent solution to my problem which is what I'm after. It's really bugging me because I know the answer, I just can't remember it.

Has anybody else got any ideas please?.....OG.

If I remember right:

Open IE.
Open a link in another window.
Resize it to the size you want it.
Close the first window, using File / Close.
Close the second window, the same way.

tg1911, thanks for that but unfortunately it didn't work, not permanently anyway. One thing I did notice after I tried your fix was that the forward and back buttons were greyed out, I don't know if thats relevant or not. Anymore suggestions anybody?....Cheers......OG.
