I just did a windows re-intall the other day

The Winows Update link that is on the All Programs (in the start menu) list take me to this webpage:

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

I believe Microsoft changed it a few years back.

I can go directly to the Microsoft website to go to the correct page:

http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdat...t.aspx?ln=en-us

How do i change this link so i go to the correct webpage?

i did a typo "isse" is suppposed to be "Issue"

Your shortcut link is taking you to the proper page.
You need to click on either expess or custom [I suggest custom so you get all] & then install what it presents.
It will update the Windows updater then present a Continue link
Click Continue.

I have done the update several times over the last few days.

Is there a way to change the link?

THe link is hard coded in the OS. Internet DNS servers will handle any necessary redirects.

So over time once Microsoft figures out that i have the wrong link they will send me a patch to fix it?

Is there a registry entry i can edit to fix this issue?
