I came to this site because Google indicated that there was something about ShellIconHiddenWindow here, but being new to the site, I can not locate it, even using the search feature here.

Does anyone know what this is? My xp-home o/s is beginning to lock up, and when I hit cont-alt-delete to end the program that is not responding, I get a window saying that ShellIconHiddenWindow is closing. Then the window pops back up and does not close. The only relief I have is to shut off the power manually and reboot. I feel like I'm back in Windows 95.

I woulld greatly appeciate any insights to this irritant.

Are you using MusicMatch Jukebox?

If so, here are a couple of links that might help:

What a life-saver you are! I was ready to toss the computer over the Gloden Gate Bridge and follow it down. No one here knew what this was all about. I've removed MM from the hard drive. I have iTunes and that's all I need right now.
