I've used Norton, Comodo, and Windows Defender. Norton crashed three times, Comodo one, and Windows Defender doesn't recieve updates anymore (1.59.52.0 on 5/21/2009 was latest definition file). I am currently using OnIt Firewall, and although it is not much of a resorce hog, my computer has been running noticably slower. I am at the point I will pay for a x64 bit firewall or internet security package.

Any suggestions on *hopefully* free or subscription/one time payment x64 bit programs?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You could simply use Windows Firewall, optionally with Vista Firewall Control. I would definitely recommend against unknown software such as OnIt.

I've decided to go with vista firewall control. It's nice and simple. If zonealarm makes a x64 free firewall you let me know.
