Well my computer now freezes randomly. I think what made it happen was the frequent emergemcy shutdowns. If I would go to the internet webpage, accidentally exit it, open it back up it would come up with all these errors saying programs stoped working. But now it freezes randomly. The only programs I can remember turning off on these errors are EzTune, and Dr. Watson or something like that. Then I would emergency shutdown by holding the power button in to turn it off. Would this effect anything if it isn't frozen? After awhile I figured out I could leave the first error there until I was done. Nothing else else comes up until i click don't send on EzTune (the first error) Then after that I figured I could go to start, then click restart or shutdown. But every time I did this this it would come up with an end this program now. And every time i did it it would keep going up, so instead of 1 there would be 2. After it got to 4 It started freezing on the internet and while playing games. So I would emergency shut down. Then after a day or two of this it started freezing right after all programs were loaded on the desktop. We tried running a scan with McAfee which only got 66% done. We tried setting it back to a certain date and it never went to the next step. I need help!!!!! I want to get my pc to normal condition as it was 2 or 3 months ago! (Maybe it was 1 month ago the errors started poping up, maybe a little more.) not sure exactly. It also makes the website opening up sound when it gets to the desktop. I don't think this is a good thing!

Open My Computer
Right click on the C drive
On the menu click Properties
When the properties box opens click on the Tools tab
Where it says Error checking click on Check Now
Put checkmarks in both of the little boxes under Check disk opyions
[click on the boxes]
Click Start
You will get a message box, "Could not be performed yadda yadda" just click Yes
Restart the computer
Be patient while the scan runs, let it start to the desktop on it's own.

You also might want to do anti-virus & malware scans.

Go to the Control Panel
Double click the Administrative Tools icon
Double click Event Viewer
Click on Wpplication
Under the Source column locate Winlogon
Double click it to open it
Does it show that bad sectors were found ?
If so how many ?

It sounds like your hard drive is damaged.

we went back to regular starup and guess what? It froze. It quarantined the same items... But when I went to go
give the thing above it came up with a DNS trojan which can not be true. I only opened it. Could this thing be spreading? If it is a Virus or Trojan? Well its back to freezing again.

i dont think it fully gone yet because it sometimes freezes but it works a whole lot better than it did! It goes almost 24 hours without freezing once! We just have to move the mouse when it gets to the desktop but otherwise its fine... It sometimes freezes after McAfee loads but only once or twice has it done that. But i think it is still there a little!
